My Mom came to visit!!!!

My Mom and Bob came to visit us the weekend before Christmas and we had such a nice time. Usually  we cook, but this time we decided we wanted to play more and go out to eat. BUT, my Mom did make some homemade hot coco for us and it was SOOOO good! In fact writing about it right now makes me  crave it... that must be the pregnant brain craving it. We relaxed and played with Vera because she is just so entertaining these days and had a good time. We decided to go to dinner and since we have reached that stage of "dare to take your kid to dinner and be miserable" we opted to drop Vera off at her cousins and let her play with the kids so we could enjoy our dinner! We went to Gun Barrel Stek and Game it had quite the hunting atmosphere, and it was a fun place to go to. We had a nice and peaceful dinner and then went to go pick up Vera and as you can see I walk in and find the kids swinging her in Grandmas scarf... haha it was funny and she was loving it. I don't think I had ever seen her this energized as she was also running around and doing somersaults!! Yesssss... I tried to get a picture but my camera died! Boo! O well I'm just glad she didn't cause any trouble :)

This is Vera in her Christmas dress that Grandma got for her, and Vera loved it! Vera loves dresses, if you're holding one and she see's it she wants to put it on no matter what. The hardest part is trying to get a picture of her cute dresses and getting them to be still for just a sec!! Thanks Mom and Bob for coming out to see us we loved having you guys!

Saw both these dresses for Vera/baby #2 at Target, I was just dying over how cute they are and I wanted to get it so bad for her but then I didn't because well it was $60 and today they went on sale for $30... now I'm really tempted and I know my sweet husband wouldn't like this hahaha

These salt water sandles are by far the best thing I have boughten for Vera. I bought her a tan pair at 7 months (I think) and they still fit her!! I told myself that I could use them for future kids too, but she has worn them so much that I will just have to get another pair. It was well worth every penny because I never had to worry about them falling off on their own or her being able to take them off. I will never by velcro, she ripped them off every time.

Have I ever told you about my Baby Jogger - City Select Stroller?! Well it is another baby item I absolutely LOVE! It's light, smooth, easy to steer, great storage, and everything you could want in a stroller AND it turns into a double stroller! BAM BAM!! Now I just need to get the second seat haha. But, really I love this stroller so much so if you're in the market for one don't forget to check this baby out!

The Moby Wrap... I never got a carrier with Vera but I'm thinking I might want to try this out. Anyone, tried it?! It has good reviews, and people seem to really like it. It's not as bulky as some other carriers, which I like because it looks like I could fold it up and through into my bag everything.

What do we think of this glider??? We didn't have any room for this with Vera, but now they have a huge room and it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit and nurse other than my bed at night and I could put a really cute decorative pillow that would make it pop!

You can bet I will be getting some of these pouches. We always joked with our friends that we needed to invent this, but someone beat us to it! I pureed most of Vera's food and it would have been really nice if we had these pouches to put the food inside, instead of spoon feeding her for every meal.

Thirty Weeeeeks!

Yep, I'm 30 weeks! Isn't that crazy! I feel sorta bad because with Vera I was so good at documenting most everything and with the second I haven't really done much. I mean, I still need to get her a baby book to write down all of the random things they ask you about or doctors appointments or the list of names we have gone through...thought it was the one and then decided no and picked out another name.  Baby number two has probably had three/four names which we called her for a few weeks at a time until we thought of a new one. You probably won't like some of the names if not all of them because we pick random names that most people aren't crazy about. I mean nobody really liked Vera in my family, but it has grown on them now and find that it fits her perfectly! (I think)... We started with Gisele, then to Cora, and now Kennedy. We are still on Kennedy, Kennedy Attig??? Ahhhh I really don't know! I've played around with the name Bond, thinking it would be so cute if you asked a little girl what her name is and she said, "my name is Bond" in her cute little voice. Haha.

This pregnancy, the biggest difference is I haven't exercised nearly as much as I did with Vera, yet this little girl is much more active then Vera was. I have BIG BIG plans for getting back into shape post baby, especially since we're going to Maui three months later :) I will post about that plan of action soon enough, mostly to hold my self accountable ;) Other than getting more and more uncomfortable and probably painting my toe nails for the last time since I can't bend over my stomach I'm doing pretty well. I have no real cravings other than baked goods, fruits, and veggies which is normal for me. I have a great Doctor who is sometimes a bit over conservative but is so understanding.

The one thing I have learned to say to a Doctor is No. Some might not agree to say no to a doctors recommendations, but after countless ultrasounds that always came out positive and the bills to go with it, I learned to take a step back and think about it before just saying, "of course I'll have another ultra sound because I'm measuring small"...  After going through one pregnancy I learned more about my body and how I carry the baby (which an old man said to me one day is in my back!). I said no to all the genetic testing and down syndrome testing too. They make you feel or tell you like you have to do it, but you don't. No matter what I'm having the baby and nothing will change that, so I thought why spend the money when nothing will change. And if you have a great Doctor that supports your decisions and has the same feelings/views as you it makes the world of difference and makes that line of communication even more clear :) And I'm not saying you should say no to everything!

As of lately via Instagrammm

I haven't been taking very many pictures on my camera because I always use my phone, but then I drove off with my phone on top of the car and never found it :( haha so now I haven't been taking pictures with my phone either which means I'm going to start using my camera again. I love this picture of Aaron and Vera dipping their cookies in milk it was so cute. Then while we were visiting my parents in Florida we went to go see Santa and I was expecting Vera to love Santa like she did last year, but nope she hated him and couldn't wait to get away from him. Santa then asked if I wanted to sit on his lap haha to see if that might help... it didn't haha. And the last picture is of Aaron and I out golfing with dad and brother this past weekend. It was nice weather and we had a lot of together :)

Thanksgiving in FLORIDA!

We went to Florida for Thanksgiving and we had a lot of fun! I think the best part was taking Vera on the carousel in the quaint little downtown Saint Augustine. She loved it, and that's an understatement. She couldn't stop smiling the whole entire time we were there. Saint Augustine is the oldest city in the United States and it is a pretty little town along the cost of the Atlantic. The had decked out the whole downtown in Christmas lights and it was a lot of fun to walk/drive around and see the lights. We ate dinner at MOJO's which is a southern BBQ resturant and I'm pretty sure that I gained a few pounds after I was done eating. We also, played some golf while we were out there but unfortunately I don't have any pictures from that :( We had so much fun too! The time flew by, but that's what happens when you're having a good time! Thanks for having us Dad and Joy!!

We went for a walk to the park and the picture I posted below I just posted because look at that lush green forest in the background! That is what I love about the east coast, there is so much vegetation and it greenery everywhere. Of course Vera had fun at the park. What little kid doesn't!
Don't they look cute :)
