We walked around in Lahina, saw this little stand and got some lunch. When I go somewhere to eat, I ask what they like and what they are known for. 99% of the time I will get what they are known for or whatever the owner/cooks favorite is. I mean why go to a place to eat that's known for burgers and then get pasta. So we got a pork dish and the loco moco plate. We then drove to this banana bread hut, that my dad could remember vividly where it was, but he claimed it was some of the best banana bread he has ever eaten. It's roughly 12.5 miles from the plantation course in Kapalua. It's called Julia's Best Banana Bread she has a facebook now and a website! It's a fun little drive and at times is dangerous. They really do have some dang good bread, so I would recommend this if you can go. We also went to a place for dinner called Mama's Fish House! It has been open for about 40 years now, and everything on the menu has been caught fresh. So fresh that the menus are reprinted everyday depending on what is caught. Mama's was delicious and we all loved our food and really had a nice dinner. Thanks for the awesome dinner!!! :)
