And We're Back!

... I have been dreading this for a while now because my last post was when Vera was SIX months and now she is THIRTEEN months!! I thought time had flown by then but now it feels like a blink of an eye. I stopped blogging because my lap top passed away on me... so sad... but anyway I'll just have to pick up where I left off! Vera started walking at about NINE months. She still has ZERO teeth!!! She is precious but can be sassy too. She amazingly goes to sleep at 7:30PM and wakes up at 7:30AM like clock work and still takes TWO naps!! I got really lucky, and I'm pretty sure I have Aaron to thank for that because he is a sleep snob and just loves to sleep!!! So she must have gotten that from her Dad. But, I do get scared when every once in a while she gets real mad and falls to the ground flat on her tummy and cries... yes it's really scary I might have one of those kids! But even though she is still young I won't tolerate that no matter how old she is!! (I'm the mean one and Aaron is the nice one...hah)

A few facts about and our favorite things about Vera:
As long as she ISN'T hungry or tired she is SO happy!
She smiles all the time
She loves to laugh and giggle
She is ticklish under her left arm pit, butt, and neck! We love to tickle her!
We love her little face
She likes her back messaged
When we open the door to get her out of her crib she is so excited to see us and bounces up and down!
If you start laughing she starts laughing too... and I mean really laughing!
If you have ANY type of food in your hand she wants it...and I mean anything
I think kids have this built in mechanism to know when something has sugar in it! And Vera certainly does!! She will walk around screaming at you if you have a popsicle
She likes to climb ladders... I know... you're thinking why is she even climbing them?!
She also likes to take clothes out of laundry bin and try to put them on, it can be really entertaining!
She is sick of bananas
She loves to watch me do my make-up/play with it
Probably one of the only things we haven't given her is soda and it will stay that way for a long time
Just after a year I weened her of breast milk and now she switches off between coconut milk and goats milk
She loves to be outside, when she is inside she is usually banging on the door to let me know she wants to go play in the backyard
She will actually put things back where she got them from... sooo weird
She remembers things... in the morning I hid a red toy from her and stuffed it under the couch. Later that night we came home and she went straight to the couch and got on her tummy to find the toy under the couch!
She loves water
And that is all I can think of for now!
