July Part II

The second half of July, Aaron's family came to visit. Sure miss living close to these guys :( BUT we got to spend sometime with them and it was awesome. We rented bikes in the city and rode over to the Golden Gate Bridge. It was about 45min bike ride from Ghirardelli Square to the bridge. This is probably one of my most favorite things I have done. We had a beautiful day and it wasn't too hot or too cold. If only I wasn't pregnant I would have loved to bike around more. We hit up Scoma's for dinner after walking around for a little. Michael and Aaron all they can do is well be boys, as you can tell.

We also enjoyed time taking the kiddos to a lagoon which they ended up loving. We also went to Muir Beach intending to hit up Muir woods. But we got a late start and the parking was insane! I was so bummed because this is also one of my favorite places ever. It was nice that we went to the beach and it was a dog beach so George loved that! It was a lot of fun to have them visit. Hopefully they'll come and visit us in Seattle ;)

Don't miss Vera and KJ sharing ice cream and tanning together haha

July Part 1

I'm doing July in two parts because we had a lot of family come visit us. Right at the beginning I went to a 26 week ultra sound and the tech informed me that I was actually having a girl! I'm not going to lie about it. As soon as I walked out of the office and called Aaron I was crying. Why?! Because at my last ultra sound they told me I was having a boy and I was so excited as I already have two girls and I cried then too (pregnancy harmones). So I was sad I wasn't having a boy and I was having a girl. Well I get over things pretty fast and I started to pull out the handy me downs from the girls and I was excited again to have a girl. Girls are pretty dang fun, emotionally draining sometimes and dramatic but fun. I told Aaron that the max I was willing to try for is six! Yep! To try for boys. My limit is six girls. Ideally I want five kids, so hopefully one of the next two are boys.  Call me nuts but I love being apart of a big family and I want that for my kids too. I also want to be done having kids by 30. I didn't plan on saying all of this right now, but it just happened. Now that you know the direction I'm headed in you don't have to be shocked when I get pregnant again ;)

So my family came to visit us for 4th of July while we were still living to California. We had a lot of fun together going into San Francisco site seeing and going on a Duck's Tour around the city. Emma fell asleep in Chanel's arms on the tour like that!! We just had a lot of fun. At night we would play Mafia together...good times.

As for the rest of the first half of the month, we went to Santa Cruz and spent some time at the beach with friends and walking the board walk. Vera is completely a beach girl and Emma was perfectly fine sitting in her stroller the whole time (she HATES sand). One day, we took a spontaneous day trip with some friends to the river and just hung out (miss those people!). Can you believe that was just in the beginning of July!!!

***Also, check out that picture of Aaron carrying the two girls with carriers and taking the dog for a walk!!! He is SUPERMAN/DAD!
